Thank you so much for your interest in  my writing. As someone who has been an avid reader all my life, I can only wish that my writing brings you some of the same joy that I get from a good story.

I live in Illinois, a state that I’m not a big fan of but there are worse, for 35+ years. I was born in Cali, Colombia but it’s been MANY MANY years since I’ve been there. I have a 10 year old daughter who I hope to take to Colombia in a few years time and show her that there is indoor plumbing (“Mom, did you use a toilet in Colombia?) and that there are marshmallows there (“Mom, you don’t like marshmallows because they don’t have any in Colombia). I hope the small confession of marshmallows NOT being to my particular taste doesn’t make me a pariah in your eyes. So please don’t treat me how I treat people when they say “I don’t like chocolate”. But in my defense, I mean seriously, who doesn’t like chocolate?? Weirdos.

I’ve been married for 15 years and counting. If you’ve read my book then you know that my hubby, Seth, is the one who encouraged me to take this big step. Couldn’t have done this without him. And although we have our ups and downs, I just can’t imagine anyone else that I would rather put up with… well… I can imagine (Chris Helmsworth, Jamie Dornan), but I can’t imagine who would put up me.

We are a dog family, sorry no cats. Our niece Crystal, who has 900 of them, makes up for our deficiency. As part of our family we have a 4 yr old chocolate lab, Lambeau, and a 6 month old white labradoodle, Tundra. And yes, we are GB Packers fans, so again hope you don’t hold that against us, but it could be worse… we could be Bears fans! 😉

To round out the members of our animal family, we also have two grumpy Russian tortoises named Sammy and Shelly (Shammy collectively). No, they are not being investigated by the FBI but they should be because they are some sneaky escape artists. Shelly, on the left, is the Houdini of the pair. Poor Sammy, on the right, just goes along and can barely keep up. So they are like most married couples…

I will be using this forum to keep you updated on my writing, new characters as well as old ones. So please keep checking back for new information. I will also have a page on fb where you can follow my writing.
